Oklahoma Hospitals Receive Recognition for Work with Donation

Several Oklahoma hospitals were recently received recognition for their participation in the Workplace Partnership for Life program.
The Workplace Partnership for Life (WPFL) program is an initiative sponsored by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to enlist companies and organizations to be partners in promoting organ, eye and tissue donation.
LifeShare Transplant Donor Services of Oklahoma uses this program to encourage hospitals in the state to educate employees and the community about the crucial need for donation.
The following hospitals received awards for their efforts:

INTEGRIS Baptist Medical Center
Saint Francis Hospital
Midwest Regional Medical Center
Deaconess Hospital
OU Medical Center
Memorial Hospital of Stilwell
Silver Recognition
INTEGRIS Grove Hospital
McAlester Regional Health Center
“We are very thankful to our partner hospitals for their participation in this program,” said Jeffrey Orlowski, President and Chief Executive Officer of LifeShare. “Their efforts and support are crucial in helping to save the lives of the more than 123,000 people currently waiting on a lifesaving transplant.”
