Despite living with cystic fibrosis, Natalie was active and loved sports. In high school, she played basketball and was the only girl on the Ice Hockey Team.
In college, Natalie’s health worsened. She lacked the energy to walk to class, much less play sports. On the transplant waiting list, Natalie needed a double lung transplant – and a hero donor came through.
Natalie got her life back! One month later, Natalie received her master’s degree in Public Health from OU. She runs 5Ks, plays sports, and recently married her best friend.
Natalie is forever grateful for the life-saving gift she received.
