MTF BIOLOGICS ANNOUNCES LIFESHARE AS TECHNICAL AWARD WINNERS
LifeShare won MTF Biologics' Platinum Partner Award, for having the best overall performance in all key performance metrics for tissue donation. This is the second time in the last three years LifeShare has won. Many of LifeShare’s team members help with the tissue recovery process and this award is a testimony to the technical skills and abilities of our staff.
In addition to the Platinum Partner Award, LifeShare was one of five MTF recovery partners to be recognized with the Emerald Award, for having best practice level achievement on all metrics. These metrics measure contamination, chart turnaround times, yield of various tissues, and the percentage of donors that have certain key or high demand tissues recovered.
Finally, LifeShare received the Golden Graft Award which goes to the recovery partner with the highest yield of dermis per donor recovered. This tissue, which is used not only for burn treatment but also provides grafts for abdominal wall reconstruction and breast reconstruction after a mastectomy, is a crucial need.
