LIFESHARE TO PLANT PINWHEEL GARDEN TO KICK OFF DONATE LIFE MONTH
CELEBRATING 443 LIVES SAVED IN 2016
A colorful display of 443 pinwheels will be “planted” in the front lawn of LifeShare Transplant Donor Services during the month of April.
The Pinwheel Garden will represent the 443 lives that were saved by Oklahomans through organ donation in 2016. LifeShare had its third record-breaking year with 180 organ donors who chose to give life to those waiting on a lifesaving transplant.
Beginning at 2:00 p.m., the first pinwheel will be planted and a Donate Life Flag will be raised during a brief ceremony to begin Donate Life Month Festivities. The public is invited to attend.
