LifeShare Network has Record Breaking First Quarter
LifeShare Network, the organization responsible for organ and tissue donation in the state, proudly announced their unprecedented success in the first quarter of 2024. With a commitment to saving and healing lives through donation, LifeShare Network has shattered previous records setting a new high for the number of organ donors, organs transplanted, and lives saved during the first three months of the year.
LifeShare recovered lifesaving organs from 79 organ donors with 202 organs transplanted – saving 172 lives in the first quarter of this year, passing the organization’s previous record of 65 donors in the first quarter of 2022.
Embracing innovation and using cutting-edge technologies, LifeShare Network has propelled forward – expanding its own impact and changing the landscape of organ donation.
Additionally, LifeShare had a record-breaking quarter recovering 50 livers and 39 lungs, more than any previous quarter.
