LIFESHARE NAMES NEW VICE PRESIDENT OF QUALITY SYSTEM
Jason Morton, of Tulsa, was recently named the new Vice President of Quality Services at LifeShare Transplant Donor Services of Oklahoma.
“We are very excited to have Jason joining the LifeShare executive team,” said Jeffrey Orlowski, President and Chief Executive Officer of LifeShare. “With his experience and vast knowledge of quality systems, we are confident he will lead our organization through continued improvement and will ultimately help us save more lives through donation.”
In this role, Morton is responsible for the day-to-day management and oversight of all quality services for LifeShare. This role is responsible for working with the various regulatory agencies across the nation and state to ensure LifeShare meets all compliance requirements as a healthcare and donation organization. Morton will also serve on the executive leadership team for LifeShare.
Morton has more than 19 years of experience in donation services spent focusing on quality systems and improvement. Prior to being named the Vice President of Quality Services, he was the Tissue Compliance Manager at Southwest Transplant Alliance in Dallas.
Morton earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Tulsa. He is a Certified Tissue Bank Specialist and holds memberships in both the American Association of Tissue Banks and the American Association of Quality.
