LIFESHARE NAMES NEW VICE PRESIDENT OF CLINICAL SERVICES

Larry Sickles, of Oklahoma City, was recently named the new Vice President of Clinical Services at LifeShare Transplant Donor Services of Oklahoma.
“Larry has a proven leadership track record of managing, coaching, evaluating, supporting and motivating team members who go on to achieve extraordinary results,” said Jeff Orlowski, President and Chief Executive Officer of LifeShare. “Since his tenure with LifeShare, Larry has been instrumental in initiating best practices in our Tissue Services Department which resulted in 145 more donors in 2015 over 2014.”
In this new role, Sickles is responsible for planning, development and implementation and evaluation of the Organ and Tissue Recovery Services. This role includes the responsibilities of organizational policy, procedure, protocol application, training and administrative duties. In addition, Sickles will oversee recruitment, development and retention of Organ and Tissue recovery staff.
Sickles has more than 17 years of experience in the tissue recovery field with focus on quality and leadership. At LifeShare, Larry created a process to increase the number of qualified recovery candidates, and has initiated best practices in order to lower both contamination rates and surgical error rates.
Sickles earned a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems Management, a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems Management as well as a Master of Business Administration in Non Profit Management all from Robert Morris University.
He is a certified Tissue Bank Specialist.
