LifeShare Names New Organizational Leaders
Oklahoma City (August 12, 2022) — LifeShare Transplant Donor Services of Oklahoma has recently announced new executive leadership roles across the organization effective August 22nd.
LifeShare is the organ procurement organization in Oklahoma responsible for the recovery of organs and tissue for transplant purposes. This announcement comes on the heels of growth in the organization and eight consecutive years of record-breaking results.

Katy Smith, of Kingston, Okla., has been named Chief Administrative Officer. Smith started at LifeShare in 2014 as the Director of Marketing and Communications and has accepted progressively more responsibility since joining the organization. In September 2017, she was promoted to Vice President and Foundation Director, and again in February 2019 was given more oversight to become the Vice President of Communications and Foundation Director. Smith holds a Bachelor of Arts from Oklahoma State University and a Master of Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma.
In this new role to LifeShare, Smith is responsible for the strategic leadership of administrative operations, including Human Resources, Staff Development, Quality Systems, Business Information, Marketing and Communications, Aftercare, Advocacy, and the LifeShare Foundation. |
Clint Hostetler, of Kalamazoo, Mich., has been named the new Chief Operating Officer (COO). Hostetler started at LifeShare in 2018 as the Director of Organ Recovery. He was promoted to the Vice President of Clinical Operations in February 2019 and has shown great leadership throughout the organization. Hostetler earned a Bachelor of Nursing from Western Michigan School of Nursing and a Master of Healthcare Administration from Oklahoma State University. In this role, Hostetler will be responsible for the strategic leadership of all organ and tissue donor-related activities and clinical operations for the organization and affiliated entities. As the COO, Hostetler will oversee the following departments: Hospital Development, Family Services, Organ Recovery, Surgical Recovery, Tissue Recovery, and the Donor Services Communications Center. He will also have oversight for all research and innovation efforts, and perfusion and preservation initiatives. |
Smith and Hostetler join Martin Benoit, LifeShare’s Chief Financial Officer, to round out LifeShare’s new executive level of leadership. Benoit has served as the Chief Financial Officer since his hire 2017.
