LIFESHARE NAMES NEW CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Martin J. Benoit, of Glenville, NY, was recently announced as the new Chief Financial Officer at LifeShare Transplant Donor Services of Oklahoma.
“Marty comes to LifeShare with more than 20 years of experience in the healthcare field, with a proven track record of excellence in organizational strategy, process improvement and financial and information systems,” said Jeff Orlowski, President and Chief Executive Officer of LifeShare. “With his leadership experience we are confident his skills will help our organization achieve improvement and growth.”
In this role, Benoit is responsible for operating the organization’s overall financial plans, policies and accounting practices. He will also play a critical role in partnering with the President/CEO and the LifeShare Leadership Team in strategic decision making and establishing overall goals for the organization.
Benoit comes to LifeShare with more than 15 years of experience at an organ procurement organization. Most recently, he was employed by Albany Medical Center as the Fiscal Administrator for the Center for Donation and Transplant.
Benoit earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the State University of New York and a Master of Science in Health Systems Management from Union
College.
He serves on both the Financial Management Council and the IT Council for the Association of Organ Procurement Organizations (AOPO), and is also a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
