LIFESHARE CONTINUES FOCUS ON AFTERCARE WITH NEW HIRE
Names New Manager of Family Services
Oklahoma City (Oct. 20, 2017) — Tara Holmes, of Tampa, Florida, recently joined LifeShare Transplant Donor Services of Oklahoma as the Manager of Family Services.
“Holmes comes to LifeShare with an incredible amount of experience in community grief support,” said Jeff Orlowski, President and Chief Executive Officer of LifeShare. “With her experience and vast knowledge of end-of-life support, we are confident she will help us continue to support and educate our donor families to further our organization’s purpose.”
Holmes brings six years of experience as a Family Services Coordinator at an organ procurement organization with her to LifeShare. She has a total of 17 years of experience, including her time in the organ procurement field, in the community grief and healthcare field with focus on training bereavement support workers to effectively support families going through crisis and loss.
In this new position to LifeShare, Holmes will be responsible for providing oversight of donor authorization, screening and aftercare operations.
Holmes earned a Bachelor of Science in Urban Studies at Worcester State College in 2004, and received her Masters of Science in Non-Profit Management at Worchester State College in 2007. She has also received a certification in Thanatology: Death, Dying and Bereavement.
