Brent Beaird - Donor​ Hero

Brent died instantly in a car accident before we could see him graduate from high school. To be so young and so vibrant, we couldn’t let that go to waste. We decided to donate whatever could be used. We were told that a mother, about my age, with an 18 year old son, received one of his corneas. Although we would not get to see Brent graduate from high school, this mother would get to see her son get his diploma. How ironic and bittersweet, and how perfect. God does work in mysterious ways.
