LifeShare Oklahoma Hosts Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony for Newly Constructed Donor Memorial Garden
Organization recognizes the gift of life given by organ, eye and tissue donors.
On May 21, 2025, LifeShare Oklahoma hosted a ribbon-cutting event in honor of the opening of their newly constructed Donor Memorial Garden.
Each name displayed on the Donor Memorial represents the countless heroes from across Oklahoma who gave the gift of life through organ, eye, and tissue donation. The memorial honors all donors and their families, past, present and future, who have made the selfless choice to give hope to others.
“We are deeply honored to open this memorial as a lasting tribute to the compassionate individuals who gave the gift of life through donation,” said Jeffery Orlowski, President and CEO at LifeShare. “Their generosity reminds us of the enduring impact of a single, selfless act. We hope our community will continue to visit the memorial and honor all those who have created this legacy.”
The event featured a flag raising to remember organ, eye and tissue donor heroes and offered families an opportunity to celebrate their loved ones. The Donor Memorial, located at 4705 NW Expressway, is now open to the public.
As we expand the Donor Memorial, we hope to have more opportunities to honor organ and tissue donors in Oklahoma. Fill out the form below to be notified about those opportunities.
