LifeShare Transplant Donor Services of Oklahoma is committed to providing a better quality of life for those people who require organ or tissue transplantation, while respecting and honoring those families who share the gift of life.

Mission Statement

	LifeShare emphasizes a person's decision to be an organ and tissue donor and whenever possible will honor the decision of the individual to donate.
	LifeShare works hard to provide education to the state of Oklahoma about organ, eye and tissue donation. Education is provided to medical professionals who identify and care for potential organ and tissue donors, and recognize donation as continuing to care for the patient and their family.
	LifeShare strives to recover healthy, transplantable organs and tissues through careful screening and management of donors to provide the maximum number of lifesaving/life-enhancing organs and tissues for patients awaiting transplantation in Oklahoma.
	LifeShare is also committed to providing support and comfort to grieving families who have suffered great loss.
	LifeShare strongly supports research and development to improve the quality and availability of organs and tissues for transplantation and the success of human transplantation in general.
	LifeShare believes everyone should have the opportunity to share life through organ, eye and tissue donation, and is committed to educating Oklahomans about the lifesaving and life-improving benefits of donation and transplantation.
